uh huh. ok, but next time when you see a thread that is started by me and the name of it is Iron Mitchell and it appears to be addressing a certain person who goes by this name, could you be a doll and keep your opinions out of it? thanks. |

Skulhedface | Not my tastes, just all I could think of offhand. When you're forced to listen to the radio as much as I am, it tends to be the quickest thing to snap to mind. |

re: it's been a long while... i added you to my new aim list... my name is toliveandshave. we should talk again. i make even less sense now... happy cd: i truly want to recommend andrew wk's "i get wet", but i'm sure you already love or hate him. instead, i'll recommend to you the self-titled (and only) lp from "!!!". their name can be any three repetitious, one-syllable sound three times, but it's normally "click click click" or "chik chik chik". for a picture of the front cover, go to "www.insound.com" and then click on "annex". it's the very first album, because they've had to keep restocking that thing for fucking ever! it's a brilliant record that i've listened to at least once a week for over two years now. sad cd: tallahassee, by mountain goats. perfect balance between hope and hopelessness. awfuly, horribly, stomach-churningly depressing cd: i've been talking nonstop to everyone (even my boss at work! ew!) about this band. the band is xiu xiu. the album is knife play. they have two more recent albums, but this band should be enjoyed (more like "suffered through") in perfect chronological order. i'm planning on seeing them three times on their upcoming tour. i hope i make it through alive. |

Happy: Incubus, Morning View(at least it sounded like it had a happy tone to me) Sad: beh... anything by Silverchair after 1999 Wrist-Slashingly Depressing: Anything by Type O Negative (preferably World Coming Down) Hope this helps, somewhat. I could list CDs that fit better but I'm more into local or underground bands and those are understandably hard to find if you don't live in this state. |
