Mr. Vagiclean

I only played the SNES one...stabby made it sound too depressing for me to get back into.

Stabby I used to play Harvest Moon too. I don't know which one it was, it was on the SNES. My friends made fun of me for it. They called it my "Happy Game".

I always felt bad for your wife in Harvest Moon. Before you get married she has a life and you have to pay a lot of attention to her to get her to love you back. But after you get married all she does is sit in the corner of your two room shack and the only thing you have to talk to her about after marriage is how many eggs she gathered during the morning. You never bring her presents anymore, never take her out and spend all day with her. You just run around with your prize cows, digging holes in arbitrary locations or trying to shove your baby through the cracks in the mountains...

The Unseen I don't know how much more they can add to the harvest moon formula for the gamecube one so I don't have my hopes up.

Jay yeah, i saw them awhile ago and they look awsome. I think it kinda sucks that a kickass game like that hardly gets any atention, but True Crimes is one of the most popular games lately. Damn Add kids.....what was I talking about?

Jay I love the SNES version, its a shame that that game never really took off. Is there any news on the Gamecube version?

timrpgland If you ever get the chance, check it out. I didn't really like Save the Homeland as it kinda strayed away from tradition in a bad way. I'm looking forward to A Wonderful Life though.

James It's quite honestly one of the most enjoyable sim games I've ever played. Although this particular one in the series, I'd never had any experience with. I have the SNES one, Back to Nature, and Save The Homeland. I wanted the GBC and GBA ones, though.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town

Addicting as hell. Anyone play this game? It was hard to find at first but it's a great game. I have enjoyed the Harvest Moon series (except STH) since the first on SNES and this one continues the trend. Familiar characters from the BTN version. The 64 had similar characters but it wasn't the same. Anyway, there is a whole lot to do and it's fun. Only person on here I know has played HM games is James so most probably just brush it off cause it seems like just a stupid farming sim.... which it is! but it will eat hours and hours of your time.
