Brandon Being 2 hours long, it's always been a tough show for networks to schedule. They could always do the Mystery Science Theater Hour again, though.

AChimp Okay.

It probably won't go into syndication again. Ever.

Jixby Phillips You know I typed "Jack Perkins" and for some reason I doubted myself and erased it

I remember thinking MST3K moved to CBS and it wouldn't be on Comedy Central anymore when I first saw it

It's BEEN in syndication, actually. They showed episodes in two parts and called it the MST3K hour. They showed selected episodes from season 3-5, and they added hosting segments with Mike Nelson doing an impression of some A&E host I forget the name. They used to show it on CBS here late at night. That was back when it was still on comedy central. I remember flipping through the channels and being very suprised to see my favorite show on another channel.

A.S.H. I'm still searching for Pumaman, that episode was the first and only time something was so funny I spat out what I was drinking at the time, so I must obviously own this episode for it is pure funny transmitted to my brain via audio and visual.

BTW you're talking about good ole' syndication, a tradition which has actually given Family Guy the potential for a comeback. I haven't heard anything about new syndication rights for MST3K, but that's because I've refused to give up my monthly virgin sacrifice, I'm starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel for those bitches.

Krythor Hobgoblins is my favourite, but I've only seen about 20-30 episodes, so...

Anyway, anyone know of any networks that are looking to buy the rights to the reruns? I'm not entirely sure how that works, but hey.
Feb 4th, 2004 01:48 AM

AChimp The Space Station tried to show it in Canada, but they couldn't get the rights. Neither could the Comedy Channel... gay Sci-fi Channel hoarding all the good stuff.

I'll have to get some of the new DVDs, though.
