FartinMowler Weezer is a band that I expected better things after songs like El Scorcho but I'm still on the back burner waiting for more...Too many bands that are better.

Royal Tenenbaum "Mykel and Carli" is one of the great unknow tracks of Weezer's career. I downloaded the thing, and while pretty solid, I can't see myself spending more than $20CND on it.

Protoclown I'm listening to disc 2 of it right now, actually. Very good stuff. Personally I haven't noticed much difference between the "remastered" album and the original, but I've only listened to it at work so far and I can't really turn up the volume nad appreciate it.

Disc 2 has some GREAT shit on it though, like "Mykel and Carli" like you mentioned. "Paperface" and "Jamie" are also great.

I kinda wish they had some more original b-sides on it instead of live songs and I was really hoping "I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams" would be on it, but I guess they're just strictly sticking to "blue era" material.

If you're going to get it, now's a good time. It's on sale at Best Buy this week for $20.

Royal Tenenbaum I want it, but $40CND is too much. I'll wait until I find it used in like 3 years. It is one of the best albums of all time though.

Weezer - Blue Album Deluxe Edition

I'm strongly considering getting this album even though I already own the blue album. First off, they totally remastered the original album, and on top of that there's a 2nd CD with a lot of b-sides including "Mykel and Carli" which is one of their best songs ever.

It's also by far my favorite album of theirs, so I think it's worth having anyway. I wish they still used that great hybrid of electric and acoustic guitars like they did on that album. It was just perfection back then...
