GUY NAMED ABDULLAH CAUGHT IN NOOSE!! Pakistan Claims to Kill al-Qaida Official (AP) - Pakistan's massive sweep through western tribal areas to root out suspected terrorists resulted in the deaths of an al-Qaida intelligence chief and 62 suspected militants and the arrests of 167, a military official said Monday. The army spokesman, Maj. Gen. Shaukat Sultan, identified the al-Qaida operative only as Abdullah — an extremely common name in the Islamic world — and said he had no more information about him. The army confirmed Abdullah's death through "independent intelligence sources," but Sultan would not say whether it had his body. I think this was well worth not making a big deal out of Pakistans whole Nuclear black market thing. This Abdullah fella could have been a whole lot of trouble if there is any such guy and if was more than a tribal goatherd. Thank God for the Alliance and the great work it does! |
