Bobo Adobo I know the "greatness" of punk, you ass. But people make it sound like the 80's was full of all this great music. It wasn't, there was a hell of a lot more crap than anything good.

Drew Katsikas maybe if you weren't a snot that needed 80 minute guitar solos you would realize the greatness of punk and post punk that was all over the 80s. just becuase maddona and flock of seagulls were in the 80s doesnt mean everything is synthesizer driven crap.

I chose Clash because they were more recognised in ther eighties. eventhough they made there best recordings in the 70s(I credited them for that), they really didn't fit in with my fav. 70's bands.

Royal Tenenbaum The Clash pretty much sucked in the 80s. I'm surprised so many people picked them. I would agree they were one of the best bands of the 70s, easily.
