| MentalStaples | Some of my friends tried surge once....they did get sick after eating it though. I think root beer is better for floats than other sodas. |

| Esuohlim | Only root beer makes a good float to me. And Cream Soda, being the most delicious drink ever, doesn't need ice cream. And we call soda "pop" around here.   |

| slavemason | The first and only type of float I've had was with Cheerwine. If you're not familiar with it, it's like Cherry-Coke but ten times sweeter. It is so good. We you make a float with it, it's like a cherry/cola Icee. |
