Helm No I don't think Moebius is a conscious influence, however. But the blue woman certainly is crazy HOTT especially when she stabs you in the chest with a futuristic airwave reciever.

Hahaha you know I thought about asking you when I first saw your work if you'd count him among your influences and then I forgot - so I guess the answer is yes. I agree with you he's stronger than Bilal, who can also a bit too dramatic / demonstrative at times. But then Jill fits into the hot girl avatar thema to a T, in my book.

pjalne Whoa, I've never seen handwritten greek before. It's pretty badass.

Helm Sountest: I am glad you liked my comics. Not many people did. Apparently they weren't comfortable with the fact that they made absolutely no sense. For some it's an asset, it seems.

Da Blob: Thank you. Bilal is good. Moebius is better. Bilal's movie better rock.

James: I'm friends with the person who made Fatman. I originally came here from the AGS scene forum after a silly forum war. I loved Fatman. Did you like it?

Ninjavenom: I'll check it out.

And welcome back Chojin.

Anonymous Here are some pictures.

We went to western New York state this weekend, but I don't have any pictures of that. Instead, I have pictures from Pennsylvania on the trip back.

If your town looks like this, there is a good chance no-one will care if you die.

Eric Ruth pumping GAS.

For those of you that can't read the sign, that really does say 'Flame Thrower' at the top. Dairy Queen is a zany place.

Okay, the rest are from today, at home.

I rearranged my desk to fit the travel rack I just bought.

There's an Antares Autotune ATR-1a. It's the type of thing that Cher uses to make her be able to sing, but I'm going to use it as more of an effect, and for Happy Hardcore vocals.

You can see the MBox Protools interface between the monitor and right speaker. Also, there is a set of Sony MDR-V900 Studio Headphones on the bottom of the keyboard stands.

Spooky.

Ninjavenom That first picture reminds me to tell you to look for a book called Dr. Seuss' Forbidden Art. The first panel totally screamed "Seuss" at me.

James Your Yus comic was in Fatman.

That's the first one. I didn't img it because they're too big to be cached by the whole of the i-mock. And they're not urled to avoid the clicky happies we have around (turns out bbcode urls on it's own without need for tags). There's a poor attempt at translating from greek to english. I didn't even attempt so for the next one. I thought it was better if nobody here knew anything about what is written, since it's keeping with the theme.

kellychaos Whatever happened to Asimov's first rule of robots? :nerd
May 2nd, 2004 10:26 PM
Helm I took off in a grand adventure. Right after the realisation that an underground rebel robot force was going to attempt to overthrow the human goverments all over the world (see the daisy bot interrogations on this) I decided that having a functioning motherboard was too much of a risk. Robots control computer chips using airwaves. A new breed of mankiller, you know? Airwaves. So I also infected my computer with two worms, just to keep the robots off my track. Kept them thinking that I was just facing technical difficulties while I was fighting the good fight in my basement, vigoriously masturbating over imaginary pictures of women I've never seen. It... it was nice. And burning. After that I decided that it was time to travel the world and rally the human resistance against the upcoming robot armageddonnon. I searched high and low for natures harmonious time cube and got a bit sidetracked in some low resolution adventures. Then I drew some comics. And some more comics. And they do not make sense but they make sense to me when I laugh about them. Did I tell you I met a crazy woman on the street and she told me that I HAVE SIGNED MY DEATH SENTENCE. Then she went off on a tangent about rapitographs. Sloppy editing. Go figure. As you can see it's easy to get sidetracked. It's a dangerous place.

So how about you?
May 2nd, 2004 10:08 PM
soundtest thx man but i'm just the monkey bass player so i can't really take credit for the songs. i've got some new shit in the works though that is more my style and i will definitely fire it your way when it sees the light of day.

buutttt AHEM

I'LL ASK THE QUESTIONS MISTER

Where the hell have you been???
May 2nd, 2004 09:54 PM
Helm What happened? I hope you make like most i-mockers and completely neglect anything you've said in the past (continuity is for comic books) and come back and help me make this thread a wonderful thread. Oh by the way, I never got to tell you that I really liked the music I've heard from your band.
