too many tracks on there are just vile, "breath" "naryana" (had way enough of that faux-tribal shit), hell, listened to it last night and theres only three tracks on there that dont tell me "this is what we did coz it was hot shit at the time"

soundtest i heard this track about a week ago and i for one, scoff at it. it's not bad by any means... just very mediocre. i was expecting more from liam, especially with all his talk of taking shit in completely 'new' directions. this sounds like an 80s track with a (weak) prodigy beat on top. i like the fat heavy synth though... wonder what Reason patch it is.

New Prodigy song from upcoming album

i thought these guys were over.
the overblown badassery and now-linkin park-esque beats and such that were The Prodigy were thought to have retired when bandmember Liam Howlett quite adroitly said "we're over." after about 4 years he finally figured that the problem that stopped him was that he hated all of his equipment.
with new programs he wrote a ridiculous amount of songs almost non-stop, 11 of which will be on the next album called "always outnumbered, never outgunned"

starring, not keith, thank god.

so here's an mp3 of what sounds like an upcoming single, "girls."
surprisingly, it's not shit, which would be good enough for most of us, but even more amazing is that it's quite good, and this even after he described the new songs as "fist in the air tracks"

erk.

anyway, here's the mp3 for any of those interested.
