Some like it Hot is one of my all time favourites, too. I love The Apartment, and the Seven Year Itch as well I agree that people should watch more classic movies (before 1970, at least!) It's so depressing that when I talk to most people my age they have no idea who someone like Jack Lemmon is unless I say Grumpy Old Men ![]() |

Miss Modular | See, it wasn't out when I saw it. I admit I don't really keep up on DVDs. |

One, Two, Three is on DVD ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...v=glance&s=dvd ). What are you talking about? I thought it was good, yet fairly medicore. I suspect it was much funnier when it first came out. The actually pacing is quite hysterical though, since Cagney just rattles off line after line. It's insane. My gf and I watch tons of Wilder, since he is her favourite director. I bought her a crazy Apartment poster, one of the UK Quad ones. Stalag 17 is another classic, very funny and also with a touch of drama. That's when his films work best. Sunset Blvd. can be depressing in a way, but it's also hilarious on a level. Either way, his best films easily are some of the best films ever. |

pjalne | I rewatched The Apartment a couple of weeks ago. That movie is so much better than any other romantic comedy. |

Billy Wilder... is fucking awesome. Go rent The Apartment and Sunset Blvd. Stop watching shitty movies, and see some fucking classics. |
