They're not much interested in the real thing because the real thing has many more complications than how it is on the tv. Most men would rather not think of the whole process needed so the woman would have a clean anus, much less mention it. One bad experience involving fecal matter is quite enough for most men that were interested enough to try, for them to not persue the matter anymore. The whole woman mentality usually is that after being subtly pestered about this for a while (in the form of 'we should broaden out sexual horizons, sweetie' and other such bulshit) if a woman gives in, then the guy shouldn't complain about the fine print (read: shit :O). And so the guy gets to play pirate in uncharted waters, wondering when he's going to bump into an island (sorry, silly greek analogy) while the girl tries to come to terms with how exactly this sort of thing feels. And now the collective womankind complains on this thread about how this is not so and blah blah blah Only chojin understands me

Helm - I somehow agree with your overall analysis, but my interrogation was about people (males) supposedly enjoying it in porn, while they are not that much interested in the real thing. Maybe most men consider it too dirty/taboo to be more than a fantasy ? strange. Now for the reasons for a woman to enjoy it. The psychological reasons do not necessarily include the "doing something dirty" thrill. I personally enjoy the total submission feeling (physical sensations are so overwhelming that you basically can't move, just have to stay there and "be used"). And there's also the "fill me" syndrome - not sure how to explain it, but penetration for a woman is like the filling of a void, the temporary taming of an eternal hunger. The desire to have each and every hole available filled would be the associated fantasy, if you wish. |

Okay yeah variation is another valid reason, both for people to go into anal sex. Now about guys, I can understand anal sex a bit since a large percentage ~70% or whatever of males have erotogenous prostates, umm... which means prostate stimulation can induce uh, powerful orgasms, be it by external or internal massaging so uhh.. right. I have to disagree in a bit. Anal sex takes a while to get it into the swing of your daily a-rrrroutine, but I think the reason most women and guys practice it is to find yet another way to get off. I mean, it's like how when you're about 12 and confused about a lot of things, you go and steal dad's swiss army knife, cut a quarter-sized hole into your plushie of Fievel and fuck it to kingdom come instead of jacking off into mom's pantyhose; It's just a change of pace. Yes possibly although a large number of women report the very uneasy sensation of something foreign inside them, an unpleasant fullness that feels very wrong. And you now say "you get used to it" and to that I say yeah, but why would a woman bother? Because of said desire to perpetuate the male fantasy, the kick of doing something dirty etc etc etc I'm really not advocating for or against, just trying to clear this up a bit. |

blob: it's basically the constant perpetuation of the male fantasy. The constant interest is much about doing that which is considered deviant in that it is not needed for procreation but rather only to be enjoyed in itself. Much like oral sex and other assorted "I am fucking this body part now" variations. Coupled with the sexist demeaning undertone of abusing a woman (same for ejaculations on people's faces etc), which inbred rednecks around the world find constantly stimulating, you can see how it has become standard in the porn industry. And yes I am aware the the rectal cavity shares an inner wall with the vagina, and yes, I know that the said nerve endings are much more easily stimulated via anal intercource and that generally a large percentage of women could under specific circumstance enjoy anal stimulation (as opposed to no stimulation at all). However, the percentage of women that would, for physical reasons have stronger vaginal orgasms by having anal sex rather than properly is extremely small. There's quite a few psychological reasons why a woman might enjoy anal sex (the thrill of doing something 'dirty' etc) but none of them are really enough to justify this modern fixation. |
