good call. check it out now. http://bigtimecow.250free.com/episode1.htm i guess now that i'm doing the fading with the black layer that i can't make them fade into eachother for 10 frames. but it still looks good i think. |

Pretty good. Word of advice, there may be more ways to handle this: instead of having all the objects fade out, draw a layer above all the others and drag a black square over the movie canvas. Make the square into a symbol and use that to do fade-ins and fade-outs. It looks better since you no longer see objects through each other when they fade out, and it's less stress on the viewer's PC. Also, when fading things to black I think it's less taxing to turn down their brightness rather than their alpha. |

Yah, I saw that in the art forum and I just want to say that was AMAZING. The mathematics involved in making everything synch up to the music must have taken DAYS to calculate! I was basking in a symetric utopia of swirling perfume eddies and perabolas of sweetest scent. I could not have asked for more if I paid with my own blood. *I'm completly serious, too* |
