I've played in a few bands that's material I really didn't care for. It sucks, but if they can get a staedy gig you should stay with them just for the $. Plus its always just to get some experience playing with other musicians.... Unless they make you play shitty punk songs, and bitch if try to go anywhere beyond playing just the roots. :/ |

Almost in a band So...I posted an ad in a local music shop. First one is a drummer that is far to drive The next one is a band that want's me to be able to play Led Zeppelin songs in four day's :/ and the last on sounds just right, a band that play's punk and alternative. The last one didn't call back, yet I've been practicing "Communication breakdown" and "Blackdog" but I just can't get into this style. Lately I really like listening to Uncle Tupelo/Wilco/Dashboard confessionals/Blue Rodeo. Anybody playing music in a band that they're in that they don't really like the music? |
