That last was a late post for AChimp... Glowbelly... I gotta say, Chimp's partially right, but election time in this country just brings out the worst in me, attitude-wise. I'll get better. I appreciate your concern. :/ ![]() |

Preechr | Well, then you should definitely vote for John Kerry this November. |

AChimp | The Libertarian guy isn't shopping for new drapes for the White House. That's why Preechr has a bee in his bonnet. |

you registered on my birthday. i can appreciate cynacism directed at politicians, no matter what my political standing may be, but you, mr preechr person, may very well be the most cynical and pessimistic internet guy i have ever come across. in other words: smile. the world really isn't ALL bad. |

It's really sad that "you have to look at all sides of an issue rather than having a kneejerk reaction" is labelled as "wishy-washy" in the U.S. You do not want a leader who never changes his mind. Kerry OWNED Bush for that entire debate. Sure, there were somethings that he was weak on, but it was better than Bush's "umm, you gotta... you know... do that thing that you gotta do." Kerry was also constantly taking notes. Bush looked like he was only occasionally writing things down... I mean, come on. At least make it look like you're the one in charge of your own campaign, just for appearances' sake. |

I'm watching this crap on NBC. After watching her be interviewed by Tom Brokaw, I'd rather vote for Karen hughes, based simply on her ability to SAY STUFF CLEARLY than either of those two mush-mouthed idiots. I still say we deserve better politicians. Kerry could have smooshed Bush into the ground and didn't. Given Bush's ability to speak, that's like saying Kerry could have eaten that Twinkie but failed. With all the talk of flip-flopping, I'd figure he'd have been able to avoid appearing wishy-washy for just 90 minutes. Just sad. Bush could have... well, he did his best, I'm sure... But there were several points he could have won that he just lost. Personally, I blame his IQ, or maybe it's a lack of desire to appear competent. He's improved greatly in 4 years, but it's still pretty obvious his abilities have plateaued. Good thing being smart is no longer a prerequisite for leading the most powerful country in the world... |

I suppose it's a bit of an improvement over bitter and tired. No mention of "mixed messages" so far, thank God. |

Shrill? I'm watching the town hall debate right now. Is it just me or does Bush sound shrill and defensive almost to the point of panic? |
