FS | I think the appropriate response was: "What's X-play? I've never heard of it, so you're wrong about that. Sorry."

Supafly345 | I don't know what advent children is, other than it has something to do with final fantasy... so I am actually proud to not know anything about advent children. Sounds like an one-a-day pedophile christmas activity.

Holy shit, Tokyo! I was planning to stop posting on these boards, but I can't find any better forums so whatever. Anyway, I went to the Tokyo Game Show this weekend, and SWEET FUCKING JESUS CHRIST, IT WAS AWESOME! They had all kinds of crazy new shit that's sure to keep American geeks satisfied, and I feel the need to report some of them to you. First of all, FF7 Movie! YAY! It's called "Final Fantasy: Children of Advent" or "Advent Children," but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, it takes place 2 years after FF7, a time in which Cloud now has the exiting job of a motorcycle delivery boy. One day, he is asked to make a special delivery, and is later attacked by blue haired punks. Unfortunately, that's about all that they showed us, but still. It uses the same smooth computer animation seen in "Spirits Within," so quality is assured. Second, NEW ZELDA! YAY! Sure, it was only a trailer, but it looks a hell of a lot cooler than Windwaker. No more cell-shaded bullshit for us manly men! The final big release I remember is the incredibly evil "Play Station Pocket." It is a handheld Playstation (duh) with 32 bit graphics, I believe. It looks pretty cool (for a playstation), but I'll have to stick with my trusty GBA. Oh, and I played Halo 2. The line was only 10 minutes, because the XBox isn't very popular in Japan, but the game itself was something beyond Awesome. The dual weapon feature kind of took away from the graphics, but it was still pretty good. So, what have you done with YOUR lives? ![]() |
