Cardinal Richelieu, perhaps?

Maybe just Grima Wormtongue.

FS I'd like to see him photoshopped into history's great disasters and tragedies.

Wearing a top hat, monocle and tugging at his curly black moustache.

Cosmo Electrolux I would dearly love to see him beaten to a pulp and urinated on.

Preechr Because I never watch the news or read a paper, the only time I get to see what someone actually looks like is when their picture gets posted on an internet news story or they show up on a Sunday show. The first time I actually heard John Kerry speak, I thought, "That's not the way he talks!" but then I realized that the squeaky, whiney muppet voice I'd always associated with him was just a product of my imagination. I liked him better with the Kennedy accent...

I've never seen a picture of Karl Rove, so I always picture him as Lex Luthor.

mburbank What is the context and source of this quote? I've been out of the loop for the three day weekend.

Without knowing anything though, I think Rove is the most comic book supervillian-like presence in politics ever and I think if I can convince myself he's fictional I'd really like him.

He has too much real power for me to dig, the way I in the past really liked Caspar Weinberger and now I'm totally alsheimering the name, but the ex-general in the Reagan administration who incorrectly thought he was in command whenb Reagan got shot.
