I thought this thread might be about Zhugandov (leader of Russia's official "communist" party) I was close. He hated Bush with all his heart then changed his stance as soon as Putin told him. I don't know what he thinks at the moment. The dictator of Tajikistan supports Bush too, btw. |

WhiteRat | I heard last week that Bush enlisted the services of a gypsy to predict the future! It's got to be true!

Putin is one of Bush's friends? If Tony Blair said this than you could make that arguement but Putin? He opposed the Iraq war and Bush's proposed sanctions on Iran would completely screw Russia over on a hefty paycheck. |

FS | Is Bush just making calls to all his friends and acquaintances and asking them "please say something to make people vote for me"? Last week I heard he practically got the Vatican to coerce Catholics into supporting him.

I don't know, I was talking to my Belarusian coworker the other day and he says that President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus is pretty fucking scary: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/116265.stm http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stori...112226/1/.html He says that if Lukashenko remains in power he won't go back to Belarus, and I frankly don't blame him. ![]() ![]() |

El Blanco | What qualifies someone as a "world leader"? Is it just the leader of a country? Or does it have to be a country with major influence?

Preechr | In completely unrelated news, recent world-wide opinion polls show that Putin comes in a close second to Bush in the "Most Scary World Leader" catagory...

W gets ringing endorsement from MOST HONEST GUY ON EARTH! Putin: Terror Attacks Aimed at Bush - AP DUSHANBE, Tajikistan - Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday that terrorists are aiming to derail U.S. President George W. Bush 's chances at re-election through their attacks in Iraq. "I consider the activities of terrorists in Iraq are not as much aimed at coalition forces but more personally against President Bush," Putin said at a news conference after a regional summit in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe. "International terrorism has as its goal to prevent the election of President Bush to a second term," he said. "If they achieve that goal, then that will give international terrorism a new impulse and extra power." |
