Supreme Court Appointments are for LIFE. The worst part about Bush winning today would not be four more years of Bush, but rather the rulings of a Supreme Court with (they're expecting 3) judges appointed by him.

I was very unsatisfied with his response to all questions about Supreme Court nominations during the debates.
Huge among the legal community. Huge.

That said, I'm in no position to up and leave the country, even if I thought it were somehow the necessary thing to do.

DamnthatDavid I enjoy being the most hated nation in the world. I want us to cut all our ties with our European allies. Hell, we are on friendly terms with Russia and China right now then most of those "democracies."

I say, lets take over the bloody world.

Go to the "Bush Gets Saucy" thread.

Ricky Glue 1-Ant, yes it is real.
2-Modular, I agree. Moving immediately will not be a good course of action, but if things get too spicy for me to handle, then we'll coordinate a mass migration to Toronto.

well said....

Miss Modular In the past, I've talked about moving abroad. But I've decided that unless things get especially violent, I'm staying here. And even if I do move out of the country, it'll probably just be to Toronto.

nah, that pic actually makes Bush look cooler than he really is, I would rather see him on a white horse and a cowboy hat fighting the Axis of Evil including Dr. Doom and Lex Luthor

Emu I wouldn't flee if Bush got elected again. I don't like him, and I don't agree with his stance on most topics, and it CERTAINLY won't be the prettiest 4 years of American history, but I'm having difficulty seeing this weird dreaded Busholocaust that everyone else seems to see coming. I think that a lot of what Bush could do politcally will probably just get turned over within the following decade anyway. Anyone can see that this gay marriage shit won't fly for long, and the No Child Left Behind act is bound to go down in the Bloopers section of your children's history textbooks.

Bass I wouldn't flee unless the candidates are lying about a draft... then I'd go to Canada (crossing the Canadian border is easier than crossing the Mexican border) after that I may travel to another country. I could probably last a while in England or France.

Of course if Bush gets elected, and there is no draft.... I'll just sit at home and complain about how my state is full of a bunch of right wing idiots.

Ricky Glue I fear for it if Bush gets re-elected. Thus the conversation of moving to Canada. And no, Emu, you can't come with us...stupid.
Nov 1st, 2004 10:14 PM
Emu "American" isn't a race. And if there are citizens gullible enough to believe that then I fear for the future of the country.

Ricky Glue Jesus..I actually agree with A-Chimp. BUt yea..moving to Canada sounds like a good idea. Chimp, where would I wanna live? I hear some cities are anti-american and will perform racist hate crimes on me. So where would be best to live for 4 years?
Nov 1st, 2004 09:02 PM
AChimp That's easy for someone in Taiwan to say.

Supafly345 I will think, "Boy, all the people who are upset sure are a bunch of fucking dumbasses."

AChimp I'm sure that Canada will be okay with letting thousands of Americans live here for the next 4 years. :/

Anonymous I plan to respect whomever wins and to realize that this country is at its strongest when united, even if we're uniting behind a crazed mong who believes God talks to him!
