I have a low view of the marital institution so my opinion is going to be a little one sided. While I don't think it's too lame meeting somebody on the net, particularly if your both in close proximity of each other, the discussion of marriage seems pretty odd. That isn't something that comes into play until LONG after the relationship is in place. Unless the two people are really young and for some reason I'm hearing about this more and more. I think the idea sucks this early in the game and you need to be aware of something going on in the background that your not privy to at the moment. A smoker too: gag. Years from now she'll sound like a union plumber and her voice will be able to peel wallpaper from a block away. But good luck to you anyway! |

I met a girl on a message board and she asked me to marry her a week after we had met in person. It's been three months now and I think I may marry her in a few years. I just wanted to know how totally lame this is. |
