Don't make yourself feel guilty. I used to do that.. It's not about her and what she thinks is "fucked up." As selfish as it sounds, it's all about you. If you're able to break things off easy, then good for you. I did the same thing with my ex-girlfriend, I was over her in about four days. And just because of that, she thought that meant I never had any feelings for her. There's no real set "time" that you should date someone else. But sometimes happen without the person even knowing it. Just watch yourself. |

Sacks | It depends entirely on what kind of relationship it was and what it meant to you. Making up these time frames and dates and numbers is foolish and I suspect they were only invented so the cool ladies man in the movie could talk about it with the shy nervous guy who's a really nice fellow but just can't seem to make it with the ladies. | |

if you're seen as insensitive, so what? does it matter? if you want to bang a hot chick and you're not in a relationship, i mean, come on. i'd say a day out of courtesy, but past that is fair game. |

Rebounds This has confused me for awhile as everybody seems to have a different opinion. What's the right time to get into another relationship after a break up? What qualifies it as a rebound? I ask because I broke up with my gf a week ago and yesterday I hooked up with another girl and i'm going out with her now. Most people are ok with it but one of my best friends called me sleazy and my ex-girlfriend and her friends are all "that's so fucked up." For me, it's not a big deal. The relationship I just got out of wasn't good for me, and i'd rather break up then keep going on with it and making her feel more involved. It's for her benefit, as now we both don't feel as heartbroken or anything about it. Now this new girl I definetly like, but is it not right to like someone else so soon, and when is it ok to ask her out without being seen as insensitive or such. :/ |
