![]() You can pretty safely ignore anything arrowx ever says and not worry about missing anything. I think maybe 1 out of his 3000 posts was even remotely funny or insightful. |

Emu | Black Tarantula is cool, but not popular enough for the kiddies to recognize, I think. They'll go with someone who the general public can identify. I'm betting on Hobgoblin as being the main villain and maybe some Venom references thrown in.

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news05/050329c.php Finally, AICN reports that multiple spies at Sony have confirmed that Thomas Hayden Church will indeed be playing the villain The Sandman. There's apparently a ton of Sandman conceptual art all over the Spidey-offices. The character was a prison escapee hiding out at an atomic testing facility when a explosion goes off. His molecules fuse with sand, giving him essentially shape shifting ability along with various other skills. |

Did you know that when Sandman made his first appearance as an FF villian his name was "Paste Pot Pete"? I'm NOT making that up. |

I hope they write a good story that has villain that will fit and not say just make some cookie cutter plot and crowbar two villains into it. I've seen too many movies based on liscenced properties do that shit. |

I was a little tipsy when I posted that. Not drunk, but apparently intoxicated enough to not remember her. Anyway, it was alright with 2, but when they had the riddler and two face it blew ass ![]() |

FS | I could go with Harry becoming the Hobgoblin. Mostly just because I want to see Hobbie in a movie.

in the comics hobgoblin was someone else, just a crook who robbed the green goblin's caches. harry was just the green goblin II. :P and he's gotta be a villian in the next one, they spent too much time building that up in spiderman2 not to run with it in 3. |

Mad Melvin | I think the second villain will be that Harry Osbourne kid. Hobgoblin?

FS | Two villains could work, and I think is going to be inevitable. They just have to think it through. The Riddler and Two-Face had nothing in common, and Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze even less. They could either pick a few guys who've actually worked together against Spider-Man in the comics, or who don't work together and just fight Spider-Man on their own. Like the Rocket Racer and Big Wheel.

executioneer | batman returns had two villains too :/ or did catwoman not count or something

Zomboid | Does no one remember batman forever and batman and robin? I'm sorry, but having two villains is just asking for bad luck and people to remember the batman series going downhill at #3.

Ah, and if they wrote Spider-Man like Spider-Man (ie- wisecracks) and got a better actress to play Mary Jane Watson. |

If that that guy buffed up and dyed his hair, he would be a good Eddie Brock. I'm sure if someone hits him a few times with a board, he'd make a good Venom, as well. I remember Raimi saying something about wanted to have the Sandman in a movie, because he would look cool to do. The only problem I have with that is that Sandman is basically a thug with superpowers, and can't carry a whole movie on his own. |
