I remember at Coachella 2004 they put him in this small-ass tent and it was so overcrowded you couldn't even hear him.  Of course the band in the next tent was really loud but w/e. |

guero is halfway awesome and halfway ok. for the most part beck is the best thing to ever happen to music ever and I love all that he does and I fantasize about him naked rubbing oils all over his little body... |

it's beck doing his thang. it does sound like a bunch of songs that he didn't finish for odelay, though. i think people expect him to constantly break the mold and he came out with something that sounds similar to something else he had done and now he's catching hell for it. i like it. it's not spectacular, but i can get my groove on to it and well, that's all that really matters to me. ps: sorry for the bump |

i think its unfair as hell that people think beck is trying to do another odelay. he's just doing what he knows, and it's not the shitpile that was sea change. 8/10 |

re: i like a lot of beck. honestly waaaaay more into his softer stuff. the last album was really nice, as were the older albums. i even liked a few songs from odelay, midnite vultures, and uh,,, that other one. but this is undoubtedly his worst. |

GUERO just picked up the super special edition from my local record store. The songs are all as good or better than the songs in the leaked version. Plus the special edition has 7 extra tracks and a dvd with videos for every song. Not to mention some of the best packaging i have ever seen. YAY BECK. |
