I fucking love the Fourth Season with the Shaolin Monks vs. Rich Summer Camp skit ("Ducky!" "Get the fuck over here.") and the immortal "Story of The Story of Everest" where Jay Johnston just keeps falling the fuck down. Classic. "Waaaahh! I'm Dave Gibbons, and I got coupons! *FART*" |

timrpgland | The 4th season is my favorite but I love all four seasons. 3rd would be second but those first 2 seasons were great, especially when it first came on HBO. |

The end of the 3rd season and all of 4th season always get the biggest laughs from me. The pre-taped call in show is the best sketch I've ever seen in a sketch-comedy show, and I don't think I've laughed harder in my life than when I saw the map of Europe in the shape of the United States after the Anne Frank sketch. Mr. Show is not something you can edit. ![]() |

That first season was 1995, mind you, and you were watching a TV edit of it. The credits also list Bob and David as writing everything in the first season, which is pretty great considering the quality. I love that episode for Bob's line about making a sandcastle and David's performance of the guy behind the shop counter. The absolute hardest I've ever laughed at Mr. Show was the finale of the Lost Episode, or whatever it's called, in season 3. Dino Stamatopoulos is my favourite human. |

pjalne | I thought the same thing when I watched the first episodes, but I thought I'd give it a shot since Jixby likes it so much. It got really funny towards the end of the second season (I think the first two seasons have ten episodes or something between them, so it's not as long as it sounds), and the third was fucking awesome. |

I was watching it around 1 PM. I don't know if it was the first episode, but I know that it really wasn't funny. At all. It seemed like the audience was just humoring the show because it was so lame. I heard the later episodes get better, though. |

Mr. Show on Comedy Central?! On right now, and it's the first episode. Umm, OK? That seems kind of odd, especially since TBS airs Mr. Show now, too. And they cut a lot less out. |
