I always thought the sound was made by a leslie speaker. Its a speaker that rotates to create that vibrating sound. The speaker is usually used with Hammond Organs, so Im guessing its either John Paul Jones on the organ or some other instrument using the speaker. |

I HAVE A MUSIC QUESTION In the Led Zeppelin song "No Quarter," what is the name of the instrument that plays at the beginning? It's the one that makes that weird reverberating twang. |
