The One and Only... You're not a bad person, but you might not want to buy them because of where the funding will go.

Jeanette X Am I a bad person because I like anti-Che t-shirts?

I wish I had one of those back when I was in Clark. My roommate was a commie and had a big Che poster on the wall. She was also an insufferable little shit .

You've apparently never been to Sullivan County.

Ant10708 Lucky you. Must just be my age group. The fat nazi who was in my homeroom even made newspapers in jersey when him and his friends just randomly beat people up in irvington and newark nj.

Neo nazis equal like skinheads and white supremecists(not KKK) and like wear swatizas and listen to like heavy hate rock? Because thats who I mean. I mean they might not be organized on the island but there are a ton of neo nazi wannabes or posers whatever you want to call them.

ziggytrix teen angst rebellion? i dunno.

edit: yeah ant, i know it's not just the south, but you'd expect southern racist "activists" to be a part of the KKK.

AChimp I'm gonna get me an anti-Genghis Khan shirt.

They are? I wonder what the millions of Nazi supporters worldwide think of that.

mburbank Yeah, you're right. Using a T-shirt as the basis of foisting a steaming load of political opinions on someone who didn't ask for them is WAY less creepy.
Jul 19th, 2005 12:24 AM
Skulhedface It seems to me that if people were so easily swayed by t-shirt politics, then the "New Kids suck" shirt I wore in 6th grade would've effectively ended the reign of the teenyboppers.
Jul 18th, 2005 02:29 PM
adept_ninja These shirts kind of suck cock. The thing I really hate though is the punk fashion trend where they wear anti-nazi gear. Now dont get me wrong i hate nazi's also but they are gone. They wear that shit because they saw SLC punk and they think them and their crew are going to beat up the nazi punks; and since they arent really around they dont have to worry about getting the shit beat out of them.

maggiekarp I think that, if OAO was really all up to fucking the establishment, he would walk around naked. Imagine him at a party, when suddenly...

Person: Whoa, OAO, why are you all naked?
OAO: Now that you mention it, *libertarianism*
Person: Oh.

Or he'd wear leaves. Little tiny leaves that don't leave much to the imagination.

My grandpa is a libertarian, but I don't think of him as much of a rebel :/
Jul 18th, 2005 01:03 PM
Emu It seems like you don't have much respect for anybody's opinion. YOU'RE A REBEL, BABY :smokin
Jul 18th, 2005 12:58 PM
The One and Only... Libertarianism needs exposure, and bringing it up out of nowhere is kinda creepy. So it serves as a lead in. You can infer what you want about my character for that, but I just don't give a damn about your opinion.

So...the point of the shirts is to convert people on a superficial basis with prospects of a political belief they're probably very unlikely to understand or care about. Okay.

mburbank "The point is to make people say "WTF does that shirt mean?" so you can lead them into libertarianism during conversation. "

That's you in a fucking nutshell. Superficial, self congratulatory pseudo intelletcualism, the real message of which is "I'm really great and totally interesting, don't you agree?"

Honest to christ, I don't know why any of us are wasting our time on you. STOP TRYING SO HARD TO BE SOMEBODY. Oh, and also? Try at very least to imagine that world is chock full of peole just as smart or smarter and with just as wide of range of really cool interests and beliefs as you.

Dr. Boogie Some people can initiate conversations without assistance from their clothing.

Helm Yeah oao, further prove how trivial your political beliefs are by making a retarded fashion statement out of them.
