i love it :O I thought i was going to have to figure out the whole thing myself until i scrolled to see your translations. I love the style, it reminds me of the Big Book of (Urban Legends/Vices/Martyrs/whatever) books. |

okay panel 1: "Jack is an accountant. He's fourty-five and a little lonely." panel 2: "One day some dangerous looking types burst into his 2-room appartment while he was drinking his morning coffee" Rocker guy: "Hey" Jack: "WHAT! WHO!" panel 3: "...and moved in." Rocker Guy: "Ah! Wasteiner!" panel 4: "Then, they started following him at work." panel 5: "Everytime somebody thought to comment on the situation..." Old lady: "Excuse me young man, do you know that you are surrounded by rockers?" Jack: "No! Please ignore them!" panel 6: "help! somebody help me!" panel 7: "Little by little he got used to them so they played some tabletop games..." Jack: "I buy [monopoly street x]" Rocker Guy: "no! not [monopoly street x]!" Other guy: "heh heh" panel 8: "or they watched a movie..." TV SCREEN: "Mary leave Jake and come live with me!" Rocker Guy laughs. Guy with mullet: "I don't like romantic comedies." panel 9: "One day they just got up and left." panel 10: "Jack was a little disheartened." panel 11: "he placed some classified ads, but the results were a little dissapointing." the ad reads: "looking for mean ( somewhat ) guys to hang with, play some monopoly and watch some movies - Jack, 32165484" the gimp below: "Hello can I please speak to Jack?" panel 12: "It was by accident two weeks later that Jack realized the betrayal" Jack: "Unkle Mike!!" panel 13: Jack: "I've been replaced!" |
