EisigerBiskuit | Seriously, you rolled people into a cumbusting flaming ball of matter.

Marc Summers | The first one actually did kinda have a plot where the King of All Cosmos got drunk and destroyed the stars because the explosions looked pretty but they explain it in the second one anyway...

ItalianStereotype | what are you talking about? katamari damacy had an intensely in-depth storyline. there was a girl and her brother and they rode on airplanes and looked at things and talked about things and almost got rolled up by things and stood around next to things.

Uh, no. Fuck, you're not gonna see any crucial points if you play the first one. The whole game can be summarized in one sentence: Roll shit up and make it into stars. |

King Hadas | Ok, I think I can shell out $30 bucks for it so I'll give it a go. I won't miss any crucial plot points if I just skip the first one, right?

Marc Summers | It's actually $30, but for all the new features and levels they added, worth the extra $10.

I guess since it seems I'm the only one who has it (and beaten the main story, save tons of extras ) I think I'll hold it in a little longer before I start spoiling the game for you guys. The music is still awesome, though, except for like 1 or 2 songs |

DeadKennedys | I really liked the original Katamari, Hadas. Great music, controls that are easy to learn and hard to master, a good sense of humor, amazing sense of style, great sense of starting small and getting big, and it's just damn fun. I've gotten people hooked and all they did was watch me play.

Wrong thread Saks I've never played Katamary Damachy guys, is it actually any fun or is it only good because of how weird it's suppose to be? |

We Love Katamari AWESOME game. Much more in-depth and varied levels than the first, and the last level where you get the largest is much more of an item-orgy than the original. The BGM has some pretty great songs, and allows you to pick which one you want before you start a level, which saves me from ever having to listen to Katamari on the Rocks by Dokaka ever again . This will definitely keep me entertained for a very looooong time. |
