pjalne The model number is usually found on a sticker at the back of the player or underneath it. This might work, but I think Daytek players have a different procedure for each model:

1. Power On (No DVD in player!!)
2. Press "Setup"
3. Move to the menu totally to the right. that means: move the "arrow" so that it is the menu to the right on the top which is shown (Important, if it is one of the other menu's that is showing it will only give some info about the player)
4. Press 1379 on the remote control
5. Grey menu comes up with the region code
6. Press two times on the down arrow on the remote control so that the numer "0" comes up
7. Press play
8. Press Setup one more time

Well the event just launched an still has a month to go, so give it time. Actually, if I were in your position, I'd be happy if nobody else entered... that would mean you'd win the DVD set prize by default.
