Miss Modular | Is that the same Richard Bey who had a daytime talk show which featured woman plastering pudding on their asses? |

But that can't be the reason they fired him, because they hired him in the first place. He actually got much tamer on the air. I enjoyed listening to him and Steve Malzberg (sp?). I forgot about Kuby. I can't stand Kuby, arrogant prick. |

That means the only liberal left on that station is Kuby from the morning show. He used to come off as bright, but now he resorts to snide remarks and baseless accusations. Bey was ok, but don't you remember his TV show? Made Springer look high brow. Its kind of hard to give him any credability after that. |

WABC TALK RADIO BLOWS I realize this means nothing to people who don't live in New York, but I just heard that WABC fired Richard Bey, the last real opposition voice on their station, and replaced him with that moron Monica Crowley. Little background: WABC is one of the most conservative talk radio stations in the country, they jump started the careers of folks like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. I didn't always agree with Bey, but even conservatives could agree, he was very enjoyable to listen to. He wasn't really a Democrat kind of Liberal, he was all over the spectrum, I believe he voted for Nader in 2000. First Art Bell is off the air, and now Monica Crowley is ON the air. Talk radio has always been bad, but now I can't even enjoy its absurdity. I can only listen to Mike Savage for so long. ![]() WABC has taken the final step towards serving as a propaganda tool for the Right. |
