Damn, I was going to submit something. It was going to be a Multi page comic featuring a world in which the MAD organization has taken over the world with an oppressive dictatorship ruled over by Dr Claws Son. It was going to have Inspector gadget, who after being "destroyed" by Claw jr, wakes up and finds that not only is everyone he knew is dead, but he also has 255 days until MAD unleashes a Death beam from their Moon base to Eliminate the "undesirables" from the planet. Namely Gadget. Then Gadget, being Understandably Mentally changed, then sets off on a Quest to Destroy MAD. He would have all the gadgets from the show, including others such as... Gadget Glider- A Hang Glider that Protrudes from his back, which inables him to travel accross a large distance By air (something that the Gadget Copter couldnt do) Gadget Bomb- Gadget Removes his Arm and with a Timed detonation time explodes and then Reassembles. Gadget Video- By Attatching the back of his head to a TV or monitor, Gadget could allow anyone viewing the Monitor to see what Gadget sees. Used in conjunction with Gadget Eyes- Removable Eyes that Have Remote Visual contact with Gadget. He can see through the Detached eye as well as anyone using Gadget Video. And while not a New Gadget, He also has had his Hydraulic Arms and legs upgraded, he can now pick up a Bus with as little effort as a Piece of paper. Not only that, but in the past. The Mad organization had obtained the blueprints for Gadget, and Claw jr had himself "Gadgetized". While Having all the Parts of the Original Gadget, Claw Jr also has Claw Rocket- His Hands and Feet are replaced with Rockets which enable him to Travel at Supersonic speeds with the press of a Button. Claw Shocker- His fingertips Protrude Spikes attatched to cables, while the spikes are dangerous enough, the spikes also Send Huge ammounts of energy into the Unlucky victim. Claw Shot- His mouth Shoots bullets. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The reason why I didnt Submit it was because It was meant to be a Gadget Creation contest, not a Comic contest so i think it would have violated the guidelines

When we find an apartment, we can get all of the prize materials out of our storage containers. Until then, they're in limbo. So yeah, hopefully within the next month we'll have a new home and then I can get caught up on mailing out all the prizes.

Then don't complain. I thought some of the entries were nicely done. The facial hair, the ipod, the sticky hand, the arc, the WiFi hotspot, the multiple-NES-gadget, and that one person who submitted like 14 entries had some fairly good ones in there (too bad they weren't colored in or anything). It's the forum-exclusive contests that I find to be lacking, which is why there haven't been as many. |
