I'm really not impressed with what I've seen of 2142. Apparently it has all the same bugs as BF2 and personally I don't like futuristic shooters nearly as much as current age ones. There is just something infinatly more appealing with blasting someones face full of hot lead than shooting some stupid colourful laser at them. Bad company does indeed look pretty sweet, especially with the rumored 90% destrucable environments. My only concern is that while DICE have fantastic game designers their implementation often leaves alot to be desired. Even back in the days of Codename Eagle they where doing some really innovative stuff but leaving the game full of bugs at release.

BF2142 anyone in the Beta for this? Its Free now. Check it out, I'm having a bit of fun, altho it feels groggy and slower than the last 2. I probably wait and let other people tell me its good before I buy it. I'm more interested in "BF: Bad Company" wich is supposed to be comparable to Mercenaries. |
