Holy Hell, I loved that show. I miss 1980's television. These days, I don't even own a television set but, wow, the stuff in the 80's was just wild and entertaining stuff. ROG was right when he said that this stuff will never be made again - unless one crazy show slips into a line up and kills in the ratings. But show like: Manimal, Automan, The Wizard, Sledge Hammer, Police Squad, and Fraggle Rock will likely never see the light of day. Even something that was pretty successful like Mork & Mindy or Alf would not even be pitched to exec's today. |
