The best part is where he gets his chest slashed open while having flashbacks of his wife's brains splattering on his face! But seriously, I really liked this movie. Lots of funny symbolism. |

The Fisher King The first time I watched this, when it came out in 1991, I was 14 and I didn't appreciate it at ALL. I wasn't interested in love stories and I thought it was too weird to be good. I didn't really remember anything about it now except that I didn't like it then. But I've developed much better taste since those days, and having just seen it again tonight, I'm going to have to say that I love this fucking movie. What a beautiful film, and one of Robin Willams best performances ever. |
