Mockery | Goddamnit, they need to play this movie in our area. It's still not in any of the theatres. I saw footage of Willard as the whitey DJ, looks like another perfect role for him. |

You will love Fred Willard in this, it's a real stand out role for him, and I think he has the single funniest line in the movie. This is the kind of Comedy work I would most like to do. Years ago scott did a low budget film on video called "Dot's Seventh Day" which was about Dorothy Dwyer preparing for an Irish Step Dancing competition. I played the sleazy yet ageless dance instructor who had taught Dorothy's family for three generations. The way we made the film (improv and script) was inspired by "Spinal Tap" but it predated "Waiting for Guffman". |

Mockery | I just love how they all stick together for these mockumentaries. It's always the same group of people. Fred Willard rules. I still die when I think of him in "The History of White People in America" |

http://www.i-mockery.net/viewtopic.php?t=1340 http://www.i-mockery.net/viewtopic.php?t=2664 I can't see this film yet. :/ It's not out here for another couple weeks. I've listened to the soundtrack, and from what I can tell, they did a really good job emulating the authentic groups of the period. I can't wait to see this. |

A MIGHTY WIND saw this last night and it was excellent. Eugene Levy and Catherine Ohara give the best peformances of their careers, Ohara in particular. |
