So really, you just made an account here and started posting about Warhammer because you don't like Warhammer. |

What I want is a Warhammer 40K MMOFPS, because I don't care for Warhammer fantasy, to be honest. The Lizardmen and Skaven are interesting, but thats it. |

This guy is just a Warhammer fanboy who's pissed off that WoW is still going to dominate the MMO market even after his Warhammer Online game is released. ![]() |

Protoclown | Yeah, an argument could be made that Blizzard copied Warhammer, but since Games Workshop never pursued a lawsuit against Blizzard, I have to assume that they didn't think they could win, which means any claim that Blizzard "stole" from them is a bit of a stretch. | |

So wait! Your saying Starcraft should be like Supreme Commander? You mean have a game designed for hundreds or thousands of units but only about 2/10 people have a computer good enough to play it faster than like -200 frames per second? Or it should be like Dawn of War with like 20 different races? BTW Starcraft had rather unimpressive graphics when it was released as well. there were games like Total Annihilation(a year earlier), Half Life (diff genre I know but it was a herald of things to come) that were much more advanced, TA being the earliest 3D rts. Its also survived about 2-3 generations of consoles, and pc's and continues to the one of the most popular games in history. |

The guy on the right is from Dawn of War, which is a Warhammer 40K game. For those that don't know, Warhammer 40K is basically like that "Starwarcraft" flash that someone put up a while back, except the franchise is, in fact, OLDER than Blizzard itself. One can even say that Blizzard copied from Warhammer and Warhammer 40K. ![]() Oh, and I think the comic has a valid point. As far as I'm concerned, SCII looks like SCI with a slightly different graphical coating. Yeah, I'm aware of the phrase "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" but they seriously need to get with the times to catch up with games like Supreme Commander or Dawn of War. |
