It was written by Michael Ian Black too. It was okay, I don't think David Schwimmer is a very good comedy director though. Alot of jokes fell flat that I think would have been funnier had they been directed by somebody else. In the beginning I was on the edge of my seat praying it wouldn't be terrible, but thankfully it got alot better in the second half. Hank Azaria was allowed to be funny towards the end and the whole movie just got alot more fun in general. Michael Ian Black is completely unknown in the UK and we never got either The State or Stella, so the best moment for me was seeing his name in the credits. I WAS SO PROUD. |

Run Fatboy Run I just saw this today and it's pretty good. It has the usual Simon Pegg humour and considering it was directed by David Schwimmer of Friends fame was a good laugh. I don't think it's as good as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz but still worth watching if you like Simon Pegg. One thing that did go against it was that the story was way too predictable, but most things are nowadays. |
