wow... it must be awesome working there huh? it's cool. same as this one. i like it more than w580. bulkier and sturdier than 580. and it packed more battery juice, too |

Do you mean the W580i? cause that's the new one. I'm a Sony Ericsson Market Development Manager. I have the W580 and the W810. is your W580 black, grey, or white? |

i knew that player... its everywhere in my town. sometimes it better to share a song with a friend with speaker than to share the same pair of earphone. luckily i have the walkman phone but it'll drain the juice real fast when using speaker, though. |

Sigh. There's a headphone jack, too. Just in case you thought that not all .mp3 players had 'em. |

what i think of FZ's points: it's just a matter of point of view.. either a big ass boombox, or a tiny lil mp3 player, it's all portable players, didn't it? it's just the way how people likes to enjoy their music that's all. and, what i think of MLE's: as i'm not a audiophile myself, i have to admit it sometimes, it's a pain in the ass just to check out all the geekcronyms to find out what it means... |

Fathom Zero | I didn't say it had to be personal and neither did Zako. |

MLE | I don't see why, if it's a personal player, that you would need a loudspeaker built in. |

I just thought I'd tack it on there in case I mention it later somewhere. Anyway, the MP3 PLAYER I'm looking at right now is the Samsung YP-K5. It's got a massive sliding speaker that juts out of the back, (sound quality's not too shabby, either.) |

At least I had the decency to explain what it meant so people wouldn't have to rush to google. ;< And you said DMP not PMP |

Yeah. I just use it because I frequent pocketables.net and anythingbutipod.com. I didn't think I was really asserting my nerd dominance as much as I was just using a word I see frequently in relation. PMP means portable media player, a la the Archos stuff and most of the iPod line, now. I don't even know what A2DP stands for. |

Stop with all the geekcronyms. I didn't drop A2DP (the format that stereo bluetooth is sent in) in my post, did I? It's not necessary to send everyone to a dictionary just so you feel better about yourself. ;< Also, what is a DAP? Is it just Digital Audio Player? If so, that's kinda lame. |
Oct 30th, 2007 07:22 PM | |
Fathom Zero | I totally want a pair of those. As for a DAP, I dunno. I'm wavering between Samsung's stuff and Sandisk's Sansa line. |

MLE | I <3 stereo bluetooth headphones. That way, I can connect them to any phone that has mp3 capability, and not have to drag along a seperate ipod or whatever. |
