resident-adam Well written article, seriously. All your pieces I enjoy reading.. have you considered sending some in to Maxim magazine? I hear they take submissions all the time. Either way keep up the good work.

mburbank Thanks! Seriously, I love hearing f4rom all of you guys. I come from a performance comedy background, which I have been away from since my first daughter was born about thirteen years ago. Writing was always more of a deal to me even back then, but I do miss the feedback and thrill you get from an audience, and the new site design has really given that a boost.

I'll say it again at the risk of redundancy: If you like my stuff, and anyones here at I-mock, tell your friends! Forward stuff, if you are on Digg or Fark or any of those sites promote an article or writer that you like. It is so, so so so hard to make a living (or augment the job one holds for health benefits) doing this stuff, and RoG puts his heart, soul and many nasty bodily fluids into running I-mock. Anything you can do to promote us means a lot.

Desert_Screams Wow, I am, like, way behind in the comment curve on this piece. But at least I now know how to get incredibly pissed off-- not merely pissy, mind-- and, like, break stuff.

Max, I are be am amazed. Your articles are consistently insane, and brilliant. Brilsane? Inilliant? Dunno what to call them, but I like 'em enough to smear 'em all over my body. Seriously. Hurts like hell, but it's worth the effort. And the scars. And the many, many damaged HP monitors.

thecatillaccat Max's stuff rules. I deal with my anger in the only way that makes any sense.

With that said, cheerio, I'm off to beat a baby with another baby.

mburbank Thank you all; I love that the new format allows me to get to know all of you, especially at a distance like this where you can in no way affect me or pas on any of the many communicable diseases you undoubtedly have.

Yeah, sex and red meat are nice, but you forgot sex with red meat didn't you.

Still it was a good read regardless.
You sir, a god amongst men. Great article man, I enjoy your shit.

Autrach Sejanoz As ever, a fantastic piece of work, Mr. Burbank. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who can get a good punch up going at a church.

HungryWantBiddy Good shit as usual, Max. Great analogy with the hot wheels thing. And 'gaylords'...haven't heard that one in a while. ALMOST as good as 'mook.'
Jan 3rd, 2008 11:47 AM

No, I'm kidding, that's a thematic response in the 'anger' mode of the 'voice' I used to 'write' that 'article'.

What I mean is, thanks for reading!

Neen Burn, baby, burn!

Undead Overlord I have a hard time getting gouls to listen to me, they are always too lazy to actually do anything besides lurk around graveyards and I need them to be out in the world recruting minions! An undead army isn't going to start itself you know! Then it would just be a coalition, and coalitions aren't good for anything.

I'll try this "repression" method and see if I can smite them into obediance. Thanks Max!

Jan 3rd, 2008 03:22 AM
Tetsu Deinonychus This, was goddamn hilarious.

BTW, I'm definitely a represser. But, since I have a photographic memory I can pretty much relive any moment when I get angry and get pissed off all over again!
