But that's what I'm talking about, sir! Used record/CD stores, pawn shops.... Honestly, i've never been to a convention (like i'll 60 bucks for something i used to have) , and garages sales are "Meh" (usually, the things are really scratched), however... Say you go to a store, that actually deals in it. You may be hellbent on trying to find ONE THING, then discover 4 that you also really like for DIRT CHEAP. Also, an old friend bought an out of print Swans CD for the price 20 bucks on e-bay. 2 weeks later, i found a copy of the SAME CD for 10 (well, 9 plus sales tax). That was just weird, tho. But Fuck it! Shop around. |

I used to go to RECORD stores.... which don't seem to exist anymore. When you find a place which isn't Wal-mart or Target, they sell Cd's. If you, Fathom, do have a turntable, and if you can find a place that sells vinyl, hit the dollar bin. Maybe dollar bins don't exist anymore, I don't know. Other than that, it may be conventions, pawn shops or garage sales. Online (like e-bay), may be good but, it doesn't give you the"Thrill Of The Hunt" or the haggling experience. |

Found a fly place for vinyls. http://www.musicstack.com/ I hear the vinyl section at Amazon is pretty nice, too. |
