Sacks I'm getting one of these tomorrow. It's Cookie Puss hysteria.
Jun 25th, 2008 10:20 PM
Kitsa You can achieve something similar to the cookie filling by combining crushed oreos with a jar of that smucker's hot fudge stuff. It's also similar to the filling in Dairy Queen ice cream cakes.

I's just sayin'.

Chojin make sure you call ahead - it takes them hours upon hours to craft a cookiepuss, which to me is hilarious, considering that each one is only 20 bucks.

Asila We just recently got Carvels in our area, though I remember them vividly from my childhood. My childhood was not, obviously, spent in this area.
I feel the sudden nostalgic need to go and visit one tomorrow.

Esuohlim I've never heard of one of these either and I feel slightly empty because of that
Jun 25th, 2008 06:58 PM
darkvare i must taste that i'm going to your town just to eat one

Chojin I have no idea how regional the majestic cookiepuss is, jj. It's a carvel product, so if you don't have carvel stores in canada, it would stand to reason that your country is SANS-'PUSS.

I should also mention that the 'puss in that youtube link is either very tiny, or that nice man in armor is very large. A fully-grown adult cookiepuss is about 14-16 inches in length.

Chojin

MY EYES

YOU FOOL WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

ARE YOU NOT AWARE THAT WITHOUT THEIR PROTECTIVE EYE COVERINGS COOKIEPUSSES BECOME CORRUPTED AND TRANSFORM INTO THE OMEGAPUSS??

This is most disturbing.

JJ_Maniac Am I the only one who's never, in my life, seen one of these before? Maybe it's just because I live in Canada? Are they popular in the States?
Jun 25th, 2008 02:23 PM
Sacks The way you had destroyed the face in the first picture lead me to believe he had a n absolutely fabulous moustache. Have you ever considered asking for facial hair when you call in ahead of time?
Jun 25th, 2008 12:27 PM
Fathom Zero They are delicious. I had one for my eighth birthday. It was like eating a Tonka truck. In a good way.
Jun 25th, 2008 12:25 PM
Guitar Woman I had a dream about this thing last night!

It was delicious!

It was also alcoholic, but that's probably just hopeless fantasy

[quote=glowbelly] it's not that obscure.[quote]

Yeah, I have it on CD and tape. These pussy crumbs are making me itch etc etc. I didn't know it was so big, oh!
Jun 25th, 2008 07:13 AM
MetalMilitia I heard about the beastyboys album a while ago and immediately decided If I ever got another cat it'd be called cookiepuss.

Mockery Haha, I can just picture that... wish you had a video of him shaking his foot like that.
Jun 25th, 2008 12:26 AM
Chojin

oh no :o

also the eye is fucked up because the kitten took a flying leap on top of the cookiepuss and landed his foot in the eye, then walked all around the house shaking his foot and spraying whipped cream everywhere
Jun 25th, 2008 12:19 AM
Mockery Fuck YES. Carvel has been my favorite ice cream / cake place since I was a little kid. My granddad used to take me there all the time and I remember the Cookiepuss cakes very well. Good times
Jun 25th, 2008 12:11 AM
Chojin it's an ice cream CAKE which is totally different for reasons which will come to me

and i think the 'puss' just refers to it looking like a face, although for all i know it could be something more sinister
Jun 24th, 2008 10:38 PM
glowbelly it's not that obscure.

and is that ice cream?
Jun 24th, 2008 09:33 PM
JediScum "Cookiepuss" is also a obscure, hard to find to find Ep by the Beastie Boys. I may still have it somewhere. But i never knew the food reference.

Now i can harass grocery stores as well as music outlets, when i yell, "Kick down with the Cookiepuss!!"

10,000 Volt Ghost Cookie-o-Puss only comes out around St Paddy's day to get in a drunken fight with Uncle-o-Grimacy. I prefer the Shamrock shake over the O-Puss, it's the shite.
Jun 24th, 2008 09:16 PM
Kitsa I've only heard of Cookiepuss on Family Guy, which also mentioned a "Cookie-O-Puss". We don't even have a Fudgie the Whale, although he sends me persistent spam.

Hereabouts, "Carvel" is mainly a pink-trimmed freezer case that contains various dried-out , fairly generic-looking, and inordinately expensive ice cream cakes.
Jun 24th, 2008 09:13 PM
10,000 Volt Ghost Should have gotten a Fudgie the whale instead, he's delicious.
Jun 24th, 2008 09:13 PM
JJ_Maniac Holy. Shit. That, my friends, is GLORY personified. One thing I can't figure out though. Are they referring to "puss" as a face, or is that supposed to be a cat? Gotta love the huge spaced out eyes.
