ZeldaQueen Tainted or not, now I'm actually tempted to buy some of those things.

Dunno where I'd get them though. There aren't any Targets around where I live.

WARNING: Domo-kun candy sold at Target might possibly be tainted...

Hey folks.

I was recently saw this video from Mike Mozart(a professional product tester) on YouTube and he said that the Domo-kun candies sold at Target may possibly contain milk powders tained with Melamine. The Domo-kun candies were made in China, where last month they had an incident where many kids got sick from tained milk products with Melamine. The Chinese government ordered all products with milk based ingredients made before September 14, 2008 off the shelves. However, its possible that the Dom-kun candies and other chocolate novelty products that are made in China were produced and shipped over here before the news broke out.

Its currently not in the news, but Mike believes that if in fact that these candies are tainted, we could be in serious trouble with Halloween coming up. He doesn't know for sure yet if they are tainted(He's taking the samples to an agency for testing), but he said until he's sure its too risky to eat the Domo-kun candies and all other chocolate products made in China that have the milk powder in them.

There are reports from the Associated Press that Melanine tainted candies have been found in the US as well, so its a very high risk they could be:
