I spent the year getting used to college, seeing my boyfriend (not nearly enough unfortunately) and trying to help my brother deal with my friend who turned out to be a bit nuts. Oh, and I started writing several books and I'm now trying to actually finish them (that's the part I have trouble with  ).

lived in my mom's house cause i was poor, had shitty jobs and did nothing of consequence. stopped writing, stopped reading, stopped leaving the house. dad died, cried a lot, girl of 5 years dumped me (cried some more) for a scenester (who she is currently cheating on). i moved, stopped crying, hit on girls (it was scary  ) started reading again, started writing again. now i am in my bed, my dog zeeby is sitting next to me and i am trying to get up the courage to go ask a girl to go to a party tomorrow with me :0

Speaking as a former cancer kid, sometimes it's to your advantage to have no hair. When I was in the hospital, the *ahem* professional wish-granting organizations practically knocked kids like me aside to get to the big-eyed bald kids in the leukemia unit. I didn't lose most of my hair because the radiation didn't go up that high. |

I didn't do it for the cancer kids, they can fuck off. Also I'm not really into Zappa as much as the other two; the only album I've listened to is Lumpy Gravy, and it's weird as fuck. The parts that are actually music and not snorting or recordings of stoners rambling on about pigs and ponies are pretty good, though. I'll probably pick up some more of his stuff later. |

2008's been my favorite video game year thus far. I've had more surprise likes this year than any other. 2009? Well, I should go to OU if I play my cards right. Summer will be boring as fuck. I should graduate, provided I don't fail everything this semester. |

I started smoking and met an awesome girl who I'm never going to see again FUCK DAMNIT and started listening to Captain Beefheart and Janis Joplin and Frank Zappa and crashed my car and got thrown out of school and had to remove my shoulder-length hair in favor of a job and donated it to cancer kids IN SUMMARY: 2008 probably could have been better Also there weren't very many good video games this year |
