AChimp Well, the poor lack of judgment involved in switching to a message board-based content system is consistent with NOT MAKING A REGULAR BACK UP OF THE DATABASE!

I laugh at their sad asses. In addition to all my sites' code, I have regular back-ups of my databases. Any intelligent webmaster should do the same just in case something like this happens.

Not surprising, they were no Tom's Hardware by any means. They had a very active community and a lot of traffic though (but a pretty weak and irritating sense of humour). They would occasionally have cool articles with tutorials on how to hack consoles and mod computers (DIY shit - lighting, case mods, overclocking, etc. ) and decent daily updates of new hardware and computer shit (think a less Linux-biased Slashdot with some style). But like I said, after they dropped the site for a message board, it was shit... guess some l33t h4x0rz thought so too.
