Oh man, this guy has all the GBV albums, all the solo albums, and probably every "b-sides" type deal. But no, I don't know too much about any of it. I have bee thousand and a couple of other albums of my own. |

I've invested quite a bit into it as well: As far as purchased cd's I've got: Alien Lanes Propeller Earthquake Glue Fast Japanese Spincycle EP Dayton Ohio 19something and 5 Hold on Hope EP Suitcase 2 (b-sides boxset) bee thousand As far as Solo I don't like it too much either, I've got Bubble, Zoom EP, and silverfish trivia. He has so many projects going on, I can't keep up, I haven't heard anything from the circus devils. Have you seen the electrifying conclusion dvd? It's awesome. |

GBV has a lot of really good music, yeah. I haven't heard anything special by the Circus Devils and I really only like a few of his solo songs. My introduction to GBV was a concert in 2004. It was a great fuckin' show--3 hours of music as the band gets drunker and drunker. The encore was ridiculous (and terrible!). Dude I'm living with is a huge Pollard fan and has a full CD wallet of his stuff. |

GBV/Robert Pollard Anybody like Guided by Voices on these boards? I personally love them. If I had to pick an album to be my favorite, I'd say bee thousand is the best. Any thoughts on the musical genius that is Uncle Bob? |
