Sure. Consider that gap bridged. It's all good around these parts.

I made fun of a kid's yarmulke all the time in elementary school and was sent to the principal's office quite often because of it without fully understanding the reason

My paternal grandmother's mom was briefly LDS. Does that help bridge the gap?

You're in the wrong place if you wanna teach togetherness, tolerance, and understanding.

Sure, I'm an idiot. Because you know what we have lots of in Utah? Jews. Jews coming out of our asses. Oh, wait, no that's not right. In fact, I started this thread in the first place to...survey says: learn more about Jewish traditions.

That was one crazy Yom Kippur. Also +5 points for the Futurama reference. +10 if you got mine.

Bump! Today concludes Yom Kippur, a remembrance of being officially cool about the Golden Calf thing because Moses interceded.
Eat an apple dipped in honey (or just about anything dipped in honey, unless you have stupid allergies as I do, and then eat it dipped in caramel) for a sweet year. Next year in Jerusalem!

My best friend's a Jew, we always had a party and called it Jewtopia. We would wear Yamakas, but it usually ended in drunken debauchery. Her brother has a pretty cool camo Yamaka.

One of my Jewish friends is celebrating Rosh Hashanah this Friday night and having us over for dinner. I'm sure I'll have some matzoh ball soup or something, but she's also making me chicken fingers since I'm a picky eater.
