The place is called Video 2000, isn't it? I remember that pictures of fish and sombreros were all the rage back in good ol' 2000. Yessir. So was hanging a rainbow paperclip chain out of that useless finger pocket in your jeans. Maybe you'll get a raise if you wear that to work. Ah, 2000. Sometimes seems like it's only years ago. |

Yeah but I want to stay in good shape and get some exercise, so that's why I do the class. And I want to not get kicked out of my apartment and to be able to afford groceries, so that's why I work. Anyway, today half of the people here are wearing sombreros. SOMBREROS. ![]() |

Full-time contract job... it'll last anywhere from 1-3 months. No health benefits, but the pay is way better than video store jobs, and I prefer to do web work anyway so the choice wasn't hard. What is hard is getting on a "regular schedule" in which I wake up at 7am... and then after work is done, I have to go to martial arts class. I wonder how long it'll take me to get burned out. ![]() |

mburbank | Is this an full time job or an part time job? Will they extend healthcare to you and Doops? Healthcare can come in really handy. If you're sick. |

Mockery | I'm working at a big healthcare company place... I'm doing their intranet for 'em. Anyway, the fish have nothing to do with the company or little nemo. It's just this random fish theme that they have going on in one area of the building, which I will explain in detail once I get photos of it. You won't believe what the reason is, it's too funny. |

HickMan | Finding Nemo is still in theatres. I don't think that a video store would have anything up for finding nemo yet. The search for the answer continues... |

The Retro Kat | Or they might be up for Finding Nemo at a video store, but that's just a guess, it has nothing to do with paying attention. |

Have you tried AIM Express? At my company we could use it until the URL was blocked, then we just accessed it through proxies. Other than that I'm not sure (besides installing remotely anywhere on your home pc. or something similar, that is). |

Mockery | I tried going through a proxy with aim but that didn't work. Is there any other way I could get it working? |

soundtest | At my work the firewall blocked a lot, so I'd just go through proxies. Then they removed the Connections tab in IE to prevent proxy use and disabled the ability to save downloads to disk in IE. Now I'm using Remotely Anywhere and I access my home computer's desktop in an IE window... it connects through the http port so they can't block it. From my computer I can do anything. I don't know how secure this is though. |
