obihahn Stripe came with all those candy goodies (mhhh...ZING, Milk Balls and Chompers...), plus that sweet saw blade he is holding to fuck up Billy with.

I think I need more Gremlins. NECA has a bunch of awesome figures to choose from.

Mockery Ha I just noticed 'em now, but did that Stripe come with those movie candies, or did you just buy some miniature ones to stick in with him? Either way, great stuff.

obihahn Some new acquisitions:

Phoenix Gamma Maybe it's my illustration background, but it took a good 30 minutes and about 15 photos to get that shot just right

Samus is going back up for preorder along with Link pretty soon (or maybe it already has? I dunno.)

I think I paid $35-40 for mine before shipping, but the yen was waaaaaay stronger at the time, so you'll probably get a better deal once it's rereleased.

zerothree That might just be the best figure display I've ever seen. I really want to get one of those Samus Figmas, but I can't find one for less than a crazily high price.

Worst than the rubber band breaking was when their thumbs snapped off.

Far from it, unfortunately. Hot Toys is the one brand I dare not start collecting as well. All the extra cost importing them makes them way too expensive...sucks, because they are the best 12" figures you can get.

My Iron Man is just a mostly static electronic 12" kiddie toy.

Nick Man, the one toy line I will always love is G.I. Joe. Anyone else like it?
Jan 19th, 2013 08:01 PM
Phoenix Gamma Is that a Hot Toys Iron Man? I keep hemming and hawing on getting one every time a new suit gets announced, but it's never at a time when I can afford it
Jan 19th, 2013 09:21 AM
obihahn Not that much, actually.
Right now it's 6 IKEA Detolfs plus one larger size glass case that I've had for a couple years and bought cheap.
Jan 19th, 2013 09:05 AM
Dimnos How much money have you spent on glass casing?
Jan 19th, 2013 05:17 AM
obihahn Okay, cool. Thanks RoG!
Here goes:

These are some of the few figures I own still mint in package. Gotta love HOOK.

And here's some stuff that's not in glass cases (but on top of them):

And one more glass case:

And while not technically "toys", I also got these:

Plus some "MOTU" style buff 1995 Kenner STARWARS figures stashed away in boxes and a shitload of prequel toy stuff that I just don't really want to display any longer.
My roomie has 1:1 R2-D2, C-3PO and Yoda as well, plus more prop replicas, mostly STAR WARS. Maybe I can post some pics as well if anyone's interested.

Mockery The more the better. I love seeing huge toy collections. Just make sure you embed the photos here in the forum rather than posting links to the photos.
Jan 17th, 2013 03:23 PM
obihahn As soon as I'm allowed to post links/pics, I'd love to share my collection with you guys here. It'll be a shitload of pics though, I hope that's okay? Think 30 pics... let me know if that is too much for y'all.

Ha, that's pretty great. I have one in storage where Darth transforms into the Death Star. Pretty ridiculous, but I tend to love ridiculous toys anyway.
