(AP) - President Bush defended the quality of intelligence he receives as "darn good" despite an uproar over disputed reports that Iraq tried to buy uranium from Africa for nuclear weapons. Tee hee. Is 'Darn Good' as good as 'Damn Good.'? I love the latest spin. The gist is, see, the claim that Saddam was trying to purchase Uranium from Nigeria is true, see, it's just the evidence of it we had that was false. The British have real true evidence, but they won't let us see it. And the question of who forged the evidence and why? That there's one of them revigionsit questions. |

I'm saying this: Bush has not under any burden of proof lied. Clinton was convicted of perjury that has nothing to do with Monica. You all think Clinton's little ordeal was nothing important but will say the president lied without any proof whatsoever. |

NEWS? :/ - The only new thing here is that there's now another overpaid White House mouth piece that's admitting the Nigerian documents were a crude forgery. The CIA conluded all this and was on TV and in all the newspapers before the Iraqi invasion. Its worth noting, Colin Powell submitted this forged document at an U.N. meeting as proof that Iraq was building WMDs. |

What is so funny is that Vince is contesting the definition of the word "lie" in the exact same manner that Clinton contested the definition of "sexual relations". Vince, what exactly are you trying to prove? That Bush is no less a dickhead than Clinton? Bush gave the world certainties and confirmations that he knew were at best shady and at worst picked out of a hat. Now you can balk all you want about how this does not constitue as a lie, but tell me this: was Bush HONEST to the American public when he told them he was certain of the threat of Iraq? |

Vince, you ignorant slut. I have seen more than one person on this board cite their disagreements with Clintons military actions. Burbank and Helm to name two, since you don't remember. At the time I was very vocal about the issue, as well, not only about the morality of the actions, but at the lack of media coverage of our international bombing, and the general apathy of the American public. This is consistency, when you disagree with military actions and the deaths of innocents no matter the political party involved. As far as looking for a rope to tie around someone's neck, why are you still talking about Clinton getting a b.j.? As a Libertarian, I would think you would understand that this is a part of the man's private life, and drop the Ken Starr witch-hunt already. And as usual, you've avoided the initial comment made by FS, that on one hand you have a person who lied about getting head, and you have another who lied in order to start a war, which in turn killed thousands of people. Which is worse, Vinth? |

What about Clinton with the bombing of the asprin factory? Amazingly enough, that hasn't been brought up yet.
