The_voice_of_reason | I also would recommend The Elegent Universe. I have let so many people borrow my copy that I have to put a rubber band around it to keep it from falling apart. Also A Breif History of Time is excellent. |

Sethomas | I'd highly recommend reading The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. He does a very good job of explaining elementary principles such as special relativity and such, and speaks of string theory in a very philosophical tone. |

kellychaos | You can try The Edge . It's more like a "cutting edge" science page but there's some philosopy thrown in there (especially during the interviews). The New Scientist website is pretty good although somewhat more mainstream. |

Talk to CIAspinster. Not sure what name he is posting under, if he posts at all, but this is right up his ally. I'm purely an existentialist, so you won't want anything I have to offer buddy. |

How about some Voltaire? http://history.hanover.edu/texts/voltaire/volindex.htm Bose-Einstein condensates are neat. http://www.colorado.edu/physics/2000/bec/ Slowing down light to 1mph is even neater. http://www.msnbc.com/news/242698.asp http://www.sciencefriday.com/pages/2...r2_011901.html |

Does anybody.. Have links to any Physics sites on the web? Any type, really. Some philosophy might work too; just no Nietzche or Plato, socrates or Aristotle. |
