I think it's an interesting topic, too bad it's not getting a real discussion Has this been done before or something? |

Abcdxxxx | There are some angles on this topic that would keep it from being a Loveline thread. A good deal of the people who are against slicing foreskin are pretty political and flat out anti-religion about it. Just to state the obvious cause it was missing from the conversation so far.

The One and Only... | Eh... this thread was supposed to be more of a discussion of your opinion on what should be done to children... so I did put up a similar thread on the loveline place.

Anonymous | It's a matter of opinion as to what looks better, and the general consensus i've seen is that uncircumcised is betta. I personally like uncircumcised betta myself.

Zero Signal | The relevant nerve endings are in the glans penis anyway (the head), so circumcising the lower sheath does little to reduce pleasure.

Sethomas | Kelly, I actually read a report from a man who was circumcised around age 25. According to him, no sensitivity was lost.

ItalianStereotype | kat and OaO, do you ever get the feeling that maybe you just don't belong? like maybe if we were all communicating verbally everyone would just stop and stare at you until your face turned red and you went back to your room to scream about how nobody understands you?

The Retro Kat | Not only health benefit wise, but also women find me with circumsisions more attractive.

In modern times, yes, the health risks really aren't much of a concern, but circumcision really did serve a purpose by reducing the chances of infection in the past. Even today, penis cancer is almost unheard of in guys who have been circumsized. It's just one less place to get sick in, I suppose. Regardless, I think circumcision is the way to go because it's manly to chop off part of your cock. Now can we please stop talking about this? The topic is old and boring. |

One point need be made: Without having a circumcision, you aren't allowed to make those tasteful "head" entendres. |

I think it amounts to tradition more than anything else as the health risks have proven to be nominal at best. As for the desensitization part, that seems like an argument that can only be validated by an adult who can make the comparison. I mean, an adult who had an "intact penis" and then opted for the operation. Know any of those? Even in that case, it would be subjective. Actually, this thread is more of a "Loveline" forum topic. :/ |

Circumcision: A Discussion Circumcision is a growing topic here in the US, as many people are turning to the idea of staying natural and even more are confused as to which choice to take. What is your opinion? I tend to have a neutral one. I think that the whole "it desensitizes the penis" argument is about as proven as the one that talks about the health benefits of it. |
